Spring Festival 2008

It's hard to believe I'm still here. My second Spring Festival! We went to Tian Tan (Temple of Heaven), supposedly to watch a re-enactment of an ancient Chinese ceremony. But we saw this really cool cafe and decided to enjoy milk tea instead.

Hazel's late (again!) but she managed to find us at the entrance of the Echo wall.

Long Qing Ice Lantern Festival

We joined Chinese Culture Club's Long Qing tour. It's so cold but it's fun. Tobal's late, heheh.

Annual Vacation

I am going home! Its been, what? almost a year since I've been home. Liza and I got our tickets some weeks ago and we have been shopping like crazy for presents.

I bought my mom hand painted dolls wearing chinese costumes, fuwas (Beijing Olympics mascots) for my sisters, jacket for my dad and lots and lots of ties for my brothers.
