Dinner at Hatsune

We had dinner at Hatsune last Saturday night. It's a Japanese restaurant south east(?) of The Place (from The Place, turn left at Guanghua Lu, then look for building number 8, way past the Kerry Centre). We took a cab from Chaoyangmen Nei (fare's around 15 kuai), so it's pretty near, can't believe we haven't gone there before.

Tobal made reservations for us so we had a room (with glass doors) reserved. He originally booked for a smoker's section (Tin, Day, and Hazel, live on cigarettes) but they called him back advising him that the manager has friends who needs to use it. Funny...

Anyway, the food is great. We had three delicious servings of calamari.
Grabe, sobrang sarap!

Day and Tin were running late so the food choices are up to us. It's a hard task, there's so many to choose from!

We also ordered Hatsune salad, which like your ordinary salad (you know, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, shrimp, etc.) except for the plum dressing. Ang sarap talaga!

They also have this out-of-this-world steak (that I forgot to take a photo of).

Here's the dessert. I don't know what its name but when we asked the
fuwuyuan, she said something or other mousse. I'm not sure...

We had Coke, and tea, and wine. We just paid 140 yuan each. Not bad!

How am I going to lose weight???
